Two Trips: Sept.22-23 and Oct.22

Our last organized pelagic trip of the 2018 year (Oct.7-8, 2018) got its target: 2 Great Skuas in mid-Gulf Of Maine

WHO: Intended Participants/Partners

This mini-pelagic and multiple sea-watches adventure on 9/29/2012 is intended, hopefully, for the enjoyment of several different groups of people...
For long-time seabirders who are experienced but do not easily find Sabine's Gull every year on the East Coast (and there is certainly no guarantee we will find one on this trip, although this is generally the best place and hopefully the good time to find this species on the East Coast). For  first-time and occasional pelagic birders who may appreciate this boat trip being near-to-shore and limited to four hours or less (instead of 24hours+ like some of the "extreme pelagic" trips run by BBC). For anybody who loves Nature and wants the thrill of a direct experience with it, with possible close views of seabird species and whales which are hard to get in Connecticut waters. For anybody who wants to learn more about Stellwagen Bank, one of the premier marine wildlife preserves in the world for whales, seabirds, and other marine life forms. For some lucky birders to have an enjoyable day with some of their friends along one of the most beautiful coastal areas, the Cape Cod National Seashore ( excellent large map of OuterCape and Cape Cod National Seashore - Wikipedia ). For some young or new birders to have an unforgettable day that accelerates them on a lifelong  hobby. Hopefully some of the above will occur.
