Jaegers, alcids and Sabine's Gulls in late summer migrate down from the Arctic. Gannets come down from the Gaspe Peninsula and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Kittiwakes and Fulmars move down from Newfoundland and NovaScotia. Leach's Storm-petrels and Manx Shearwaters breed right in New England. Cory's Shearwaters visit us from islands on the European side of the Atlantic Ocean. Greater and Sooty Shearwaters breed on islands in the far south Atlantic Ocean and spend their Austral winter with us. And similarly for Wilson's Petrel which breeds even farther south on islands in the Antarctic (aka Southern) Ocean.
