An old "pelagic ferry" may return
Some of you may remember the old MV Bluenose ferry which was a seabirder's delight in the 1960s through 1980s. Well, it appears that a new replacement ferry may be in-the-works.... Thank Heavens!
If it does return, with a daytime ship that enables seabird watching, it will become our next new group "pelagic" trip! Especially since Leach's Storm-petrel was often a guaranteed bird on that trip, out in the middle of the journey.
